Community Health Fair
Members volunteer their time on a continuous basis at community health fairs. Awareness is raised about Breast Cancer and other prevalent issues affecting those in the community. Alpha Xi also provides a small photo area for everyone to take pictures to show their support. Make sure to visit next time you see us!

Campus Beautification
Members painted the campus Red&White. We were given specific locations around the campus to enhance with our beautiful colors.

Kloset Kleanout
Alpha Xi collected clothing at the end of the school year to donate to Big Brother Big Sister. The clothes were then given to children around the community that were in need.

BINGO!
Alpha Xi established a relationship with the Miracle Hill nursing home so that we can have regularly scheduled visits to play games, sit and visit and/or provide toiletries to Nursing Home residents. Visits occur on the weekends, so that a maximum number of Alpha Xi sisters can attend.

Diabetes Walk
Members participated in the community Diabetes Walk to assist with raising awareness & funds about the disease and to asist those affected by the disease.

Artopia
Members volunteered with the Big Bend Cares sponsored the 16th annual Artopia Art Auction. Local, national and regional artists donate their work to be sold at what has become the region’s largest and best-attended juried art auction. With art in media including painting, sculpture, photography, arts and crafts, and more, Artopia has become a must-attend event, drawing approximately 1,500 participants per year. Artopia features both silent auctions, and a rousing live auction at the end of the evening.
